Co-operative Workspace Holds Fall Open House

Posted

Saturday Bench in Omaha held their fall open house at a warehouse near 11th & Izard Sts.

Bench in Omaha is a co-operative workspace for local artisans and craftsmen.  Twice a year, they hold an open house called “MADE.”  It is a one-of-a-kind event where you can find one-of-a-kind gifts.  Makers have everything from handmade pipes and wood furniture to clothing and baked goods.

“We’ve had a great response.  It’s been pretty full all day.  We’ve got about 50 vendors from the region here, and got some really great product, and a lot of great people coming and checking it out,” said owner Ben Petersen.
