Congressman Bacon to hold emergency preparedness event

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska Congressman Don Bacon will be in Omaha this weekend to host an emergency preparedness event.

The event will be aimed towards families and individuals in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District to connect with agencies and organizations on how to prepare for an emergency or disaster. The free event will be held at the Millard Branch of the Omaha Public Library from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21st.

Interactive activities such as a smoke escape trailer from the Omaha Fire Department, police cruisers, and information from 22 agencies will also be present.
