LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A woman already on parole for fraud in Colorado has been arrested on suspicion of embezzling from a Lincoln chiropractic business where she worked.

Ann Crall, 40, of Lincoln, appeared in Lancaster County Court on Tuesday on a felony charge of theft by deception, the Lincoln Journal Star reported. Her bond was set at $10,000.

Police said they were alerted by the office manager of Movement Chiropractic, who reported suspicious activity on a business credit card that started three days after Crall began working there.

Crall reportedly charged about $5,000 to the credit card, which was kept at the front desk where she sat, investigators said. The charges included two months of Crall’s rent and calls to an inmate in Colorado.

Crall was previous sentenced in Colorado to 11 years in prison for theft and charitable fraud for taking almost $60,000 from donors under the pretense that she had cancer. In 2015, she was sentenced to another two years for trying to fool her probation officer with fake letters and documents and for stealing her roommate’s identity.
