A Council Bluffs mother is arrested after investigators discovered she put her 10-month old son's hand in a scalding coffee mug.
According to Council Bluffs Police, 36-year old Rebecca Brahier put her son's hand into the hot coffee to prove a point that it was hot after he instinctively reached for it several times.
The infant suffered second degree burns on his hand and forearm. He's now in protective custody along with a 12-year-old sibling.
