A Douglas County Corrections sergeant is accused of sexually exploiting a minor.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says officers and agents with the Department of Homeland Security arrested Shawn Beu after searching his home Thursday morning.
He faces on misdemeanor charge of sexual exploitation of a minor and one felony count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators say a tip from the National Center for Missing or Exploited Children in December 2015 led them to uncover evidence leading to his arrest.
Douglas County Corrections says he's still employed, though they are conducting their own investigation.
