UPDATE 5:43 p.m.: All lanes now open to traffic
A late afternoon crash is tying up traffic on Interstate 80 at the start of the rush hour.
The crash is on westbound I-80 near 72nd Street. Several rescue units are on the scene and several lanes have been blocked off. Multiple vehicles are involved. Westbound traffic is at a standstill.
At least six people were checked out for injuries, but no one was transported to the hospital.
