Two firefighters went to the hospital while battling a house fire in a Ponca Hills neighborhood.
Multiple crews headed to north 48th street near Calhoun Road around 2:00 on Thursday morning.
The firefighters suffered from heat exhaustion, one going to the hospital in serious condition.
Battalion Chief Joel Sacks says it wasn't easy for crews to get to the fire right away. "Difficult location, extremely long drive way, it took away top get water supply to the house."
The homeowner's dog was found safe, they were reunited as crews worked to get the fire out.
The cause is accidential.
