OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Crews extinguished a house fire Wednesday evening that displaced one person.
Firefighters were called to 2713 S 14th St around 7:30 p.m. and declared a working fire. The occupant inside self-rescued before crews arrived. MUD and the Red Cross were also on-hand to assist.
There were no other injuries, and the fire was determined to be accidental due to combustible materials stored in close proximity to an open flame.
