The first week of 2016 will be busy for presidential candidates visiting western Iowa.
Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, along with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will all make campaign stops in western Iowa this week.
Late Monday evening, Ted Cruz will stop in Missouri Valley. He is scheduled to visit supporters at Penny's Diner (128 Willow Rd.) from 10:45 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

On Tuesday Hillary Clinton will stop in Council Bluffs as part of a two-day tour in the state. She is scheduled to hole a rally at 5:30 p.m. at Iowa Western Community College's student center.

Rand Paul will be in Council Bluffs on Thursday. He plans to hold a meet and greet at the Council Bluffs Library (400 Willow Ave.) at 10 a.m.
