Officials with the Omaha Public Schools said someone reportedly tried to entice two of it's elementary students into a vehicle on Wednesday morning.
Officials say that the students were on safety patrol near Saddlebrook Elementary, just north of 144th and Fort when the incident happened.
The students told authorities that they were approached by one or two people in a Jeep, who tried to talk them into getting in the vehicle.
When the children didn't respond, the jeep took off and students told an adult.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this case.
