According to the Omaha Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department, Lake Zorinsky has dead fish washing up to the shore and bobbing in the water.
“It’s not the first time it had happened,” department director Brook Bench told the Omaha World-Herald. “We don’t know the reason why.”
Miller Park Lagoon had a similar problem in June, but according to Bench, there is a higher magnitude of dead fish at Lake Zorinsky.
