OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The City of Omaha's Public Works Department says snow removal operations ended as of 10:00 a.m. this morning which means you have until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow to do the same...or else you may face fines.
From the Public Works Department:
The Omaha Public Works Department is announcing that Major and Secondary Operations ended today at 10:00AM.
Pursuant to OMC 34-332, and 34-333, property owners have 24 hours after the end of operations to clear sidewalks from any remaining snow from this event. Failure to do so may result in removal by the City of Omaha, and a subsequent assessment to the property for the cost of the work.
