OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - A group joined in solidarity to call for justice for Duante Wright, the 20-year-old Black man who was fatally shot on Sunday during a traffic stop in a suburb outside Minneapolis.

More than 50 people gathered at the corner of 72nd and Dodge.

“I'm here because like many people I'm frustrated with reckless police behavior, lack of accountability, lack of prosecutions for police officers to behave so reckless at a time when the world is watching Minnesota,” one demonstrator said. “It just shows trust is lacking in police departments not just in Omaha, but around the country.”

Monday's demonstration was peaceful.
