It has been dubbed the most expensive construction proposal in Douglas County.
Thursday afternoon, discussions on plans to use eminent domain to build a new youth detention center downtown will continue.
County leaders will cover space needs and give an update on obtaining property near 18th and Harney. They will also be giving a progress report on construction with the $45 million public safety bond.
The meeting begins at 1 p.m. at the Omaha Civic Center and is open to the public.
