Sadie, the dog who escaped from a Waterloo pet motel, was located Friday by one of the business' employees, according to the Facebook page that put the word out when the dog went missing.
According to Lost Pets of Omaha, the dog was located about a mile away from the pet motel, in a field where corn detasselers were working.
"When they started working, that chased Sadie out of hiding," the post said.
Sadie, a silky terrier/toy poodle mix, had been missing more than two weeks, but was found in fair condition.
"She's dirty and malnourished. She has some bumps, scratches and ticks, but otherwise seems fine," the post reads.
Sadie was expected to be examined by a veterinarian on Friday.
