Double murder suspect Dontevous Loyd was denied bond in court Thursday.
Loyd appeared before a judge at 1 p.m. amid increased security, though about five people showed up to watch the hearing.
Ctp. Wayne Hudson, with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, spoke afterwards about why they increased security.
“It’s another example of the Douglas County Sheriff and Douglas County Corrections working together in a collaborative effort to make sure that we keep those that come to this facility secure and safe,” Hudson said.
