OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — In January, a Douglas County Corrections Officer was arrested for embezzling $173,000 from the Fraternal Order of Police. Today he was sentenced.

43-year-old Daniel Glazebrook received 3-7 years of prison time for the charge of unauthorized use of financial transaction devices. Glazebrook was also facing charges of theft and forgery but they were dismissed after he accepted a plea deal.

Glazebrook was serving as treasurer at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8 when executive board members noticed unusual transactions, missing funds and a three-year paper trail leading back to the former treasurer.
