The Omaha Police Department has received a grant of more than $23,000 to partake in the national "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.
OPD will have extra patrol officers on the roads between Aug. 17 and Sept. 3 to look for drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The goal is to ensure a safe holiday over Labor Day.
