Driverless vehicles to become legal in Nebraska

Monday afternoon Gov. Pete Ricketts will sign a bill allowing automated vehicle technology in Nebraska.

This comes after lawmakers cleared the way for companies to test self-driving cars in Nebraska, but it may take a while for driverless t cars to make it onto the roads.

Industry officials say it could be years or even decades before self-driving cars become a reality in the state.
