OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A pursuit that began in Carter Lake early Saturday morning ended in a fatal crash, leaving a 30-year-old woman dead according to Omaha Police.
Around 4:03 a.m., Douglas County dispatch informed Southeast Uniform Patrol that Carter Lake police were in pursuit of a 2009 Nissan Altima.
The Nissan left the roadway and crashed at Abbott Dr and Gallup Dr.
The only occupant of the vehicle, identified as 30-year-old Brittany Madson, was ejected and pronounced dead by Omaha Fire Medics at the scene.
Investigation into the crash is ongoing.
