OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - An effort to re-open a favorite late night donut stop has hit a roadblock.
KMTV’s media partners at the Omaha World-Herald found out the group that bought the former Donut Stop near 13th and William with plans to turn it into a restaurant say those plans are now on hold.
They cite the costly price tag of renovations as the issue. There is still hope. The group is hoping to have the building placed on the National Register of Historic Places, making it eligible for more funding.
