If you have an old TV, computer or other gadgets, recycling electronics is getting easier.
Earlier today, a new pilot program in Nebraska was unveiled that's being put on by the Consumer Technology Association. Major electronic brands like Dell and Vizio are also behind the effort. "Some of the goals of this public-private partnership are we want to increase awareness of electronic recycling amongst citizens in Nebraska" said Walter Alcorn of the CTA.
The group did a study that showed nine in ten Nebraskans valued e-recycling, but only half knew where to go. To find a list of dropoff sites, go to http://www.greenergadgets.org.
