An Elkhorn River access point shut down last week after vandalism was found at the site has been re-opened for public use.
Graske Crossing, a river access site on the southeast corner where West Dodge Road crosses the Elkhorn River, was back open this afternoon, according to a Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District press release.
The district closed the site last week after vandals struck the area, the release states. So far, authorities have no leads on who may have caused the damage.
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department at 402-444-6000; or the Papio NRD office at 402-444-6222.
