Staff of U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer says there is an increased security presence at her event at Metro Community College. The response comes after a congressman from Louisiana was shot in Arlington, VA, earlier this week.
Sen. Fischer held a listening session at Metro's Fort campus. Early in the session, she took many questions regarding the future of healthcare. The Omaha Police Department and campus police have a visible presence at the event.
