(KMTV) — A Nebraska photographer helped make Julia Yllescas' senior photos even more memorable.

Snapshots by Suz helped Julia realize a special gift to portray having her father with her at this important time in her life.

According to a Love What Matters Facebook post, the high school senior's dad, U.S. Army Capt. Robert Yllescas, died in 2008 after he stepped on an IED in Afghanistan.

While, Julia will miss seeing her dad at high school graduation, she wants others to know he's with her in spirit.

The photographer designed "angel photos," which shows a transparent image of her dad standing next to her on a road. Another one shows the pair sitting side by side and looking toward each other.

The photos have been garnering lots of likes, comments and shares on social media.

The Facebook post also read in part: "I was very emotional when I edited the photos because my husband is active duty national guard and has been put in the same exact situations as Rob was, but I was lucky enough for him to come home. A lot of military spouses and kids such as Julia are not, and I am so thankful I was able to do something to honor her and her dad!”
