Omaha firefighters worked overtime to get a house fire under control Thursday night in Ponca Hills.
The home was just north of the Mormon Bridge.
Firefighters eventually gained the upper hand just before 8:00 p.m.
According to the homeowners, they lit an outside grill and went back inside the home.
When they came out, flames were climbing the outside walls.
The home sustained heavy damage.
No injuries were reported.
