Firefighters say a vacant house fire caused damage to other homes nearby.
Officials say the incident happened around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday on Florence Boulevard, just south of Lake Street.
Crews spent around 2 hours putting out the flames.
The fire became so intense it melted siding of neighboring homes.
No reports of injuries to anyone in the homes nearby.
