Friday is last day to register to vote for Omaha Mayoral Primary

Posted

Hotly contested and not slowing down anytime soon. It's the Omaha mayoral race.

The April 4th primary will be here before we know it and if you want to make your vote count.

There are deadlines, you need to know about. In about three weeks, the primary election will be here before you know it and the Douglas county election commission wants people to be ready to cast their votes.

Friday is the last day for online registrations and for mailed registrations to be postmarked. If you plan to register at the DMV state agencies, Omaha libraries need to be done by Friday.

If you have someone delivering registration forms on your behalf to the election office, Friday is the final day for that. Douglas County election officials say this Friday is the deadline to register to vote using any method besides coming into the office personally.

If you miss Friday’s deadline to register for the primary, you can still register in person at the Douglas election office until Friday, March 24th by 6:00 p.m.
