An 18-year-old college student from Omaha took his life in front of police yesterday.
His sudden death is stunning friends and classmates.
Many describe Ramsey Adams as goofy and fun to be around.
They say nothing about his personality could have ever made them think something wasn't right.
"You know he was a goofy dude."
"You never see that kid without a smile on his face, everyday I'd see him he'll always ask you how your day was, he's always happy,"
A person many describe as always happy say they can't wrap their mind around what happened Monday.
"If he had any problems he would always put them on the back burner and put other people first, he was very giving and kind."
"Just a person you can just hang out with."
Monday the Midland University basketball player shot himself in the head, while inside his home, in front of Omaha Police.
"Always so happy you'd never guess that, he always had a smile on his face."
The university is offering counseling for anyone grieving with Adams sudden loss.
They released this in a statement to students after his death.
