Gas prices continue to fall

Nebraska drivers are saving more money at the gas pump.
 
AAA says gas prices dropped seven cents per gallon in the past week. The abundant amount of crude oil in the global market, which is contributing to lower prices. As a result, retail averages are at the same price as this time one year ago.  Gasoline demand tends to decline in November, and with the fall refinery maintenance season nearing completion, prices are expected to move lower to close out the year.
 
The national average price for a gallon of gas is $2.17. Prices have fallen for ten consecutive days.
