Giles Road construction backing up drivers

Posted

Drivers who use Giles Road in southwest Omaha are running into barricades.

Giles Road closed Monday between 144th and 156th Streets for construction.  Drivers are being asked to use Harrison Street as a detour, and you should expect delays during the morning and evening rush hours. The project is expected to take about 90 days.

Drivers will also find barricades on Cornhusker Road between 114th and 126th Street and at 120th and Cornhusker due to road work.  That project is expected to take six weeks,
