Last week, Indian Creek saw received up to seven inches of rain in some spots, so the recent heavier rains were not welcomed.

"One of the tough things about playing golf when its wet is the ability to hold onto your golf club. People can play in wind you can play when its too hot out but when your equipment gets wet it makes it real difficult," James Rolls, the course's director of golf, said.

Despite the rain, the course should be just fine for the Pinnacle Bank Championship in a few weeks.
