OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Protesters gathered outside the Douglas County Courthouse on Saturday night in support of abolishing ICE.

Organizers of the event said many people living in Omaha are impacted by ICE's actions, whether it's living in fear of deportation or being separated from family.

Other protesters held signs expressing their disapproval of agents from the Custom and Border Patrol being used to police protesters in Portland.

The gathering was expected to last until 10 p.m.
