OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Patients at Children's Hospital got to become little ghosts and goblins on Tuesday.
Kids got to dress up and even paint pumpkins at a Halloween party hosted by Spirit Halloween, who also donated the costumes.
The event was a chance to make the hospital experience a little less stressful for the kids and their families.
"It's tough sometimes for the parents to get out and get them a costume or have a roughly normal day at the hospital, so we're here to help them enjoy their time here as much as possible and just have fun for a day." Jeremey Hauri said, with the Spirit of Children Program.
"Spirit Halloween" collects donations from area stores, their website and private donors. They have raised nearly $150,000 since 2011.
