Because of ice on bridges and overpasses, traffic on Westbound I-480 was being diverted off on to 10th Street Tuesday morning, causing delays for those entering Omaha from Council Bluffs.
Also, following multiple accidents, eastbound I-480 was shut down around 7:20 a.m. with traffic being diverted to 14th Street, it has since been re-opened, but is still very icy.
Additionally, northbound I-480 was blocked from the northbound JFK Tuesday after several accidents, but it re-opened a little after 8 a.m.
As of 7 a.m., Omaha Police are not responding to property damage crashes.
