The Nebraska Humane Society brought in about 18 Samoyeds from Worth County Iowa. Over 100 of the dogs were crammed into kennels and left without food or water.
Now the process begins to put these pups up for adoption.
Young and old Samoyeds will be examined by veterinarians before they are put up for adoption.
"It's going to be several weeks before they're ready and we will let people know on our website and social media when they are ready," said Nebraska Humane Society president Nancy Hintz.

Samoyeds are typically friendly dogs. The breed is known for their smiling face because of the unique shape of their jaw.
