More than 600 Nebraska youths have received treatment through a new state initiative designed to help those who struggle with emotional and mental-health problems.
Organizers of the program marked its first year at a Capitol ceremony with Gov. Pete Ricketts. The event also coincided with Mental Health Awareness Month.
The Behavioral Health System of Care offers a variety of community-based services for youths.
