Between tight deadlines, writing and broadcasting on live TV, there is much more than goes into a TV newscast than meets the eye.
It is a lesson students at Wilson Focus School are learning first hand.
The daily product fits well into the curriculum since the school is heavy on technology, communication and leadership.
"We do it every day and we rotate different classrooms each day by the time we get to the end of the year," Bret Anderson, the principal of the school, said. "I think just about every kid has had the chance to be on the news."
