DES MOINES, Iowa (KMTV) - Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds says she is proud of the way the state has responded to the coronavirus pandemic.

She says the state continues to monitor the numbers but she thinks Iowans are doing the right thing and taking steps to prevent the spread.

"I think it is enough. I think our trends are showing that,” Reynolds said. “I think Iowans have been responsible. I've been so impressed with business and industry. You know, they want to make sure that they're taking care of their employees. They want to make sure that their customers and their patrons and their clients are protected.”

Reynolds says while they've seen upticks in numbers in certain counties, they have not reached the level that the state needs to implement any additional restrictions.
