Jack Osborne, the younger brother of Nebraska coaching legend Tom Osborne, died in a car crash Sunday night west of Hastings.
The Adams County Sheriff's Department says Osborne failed to yield at a stop sign on Highway 6 and his car collided with another vehicle. The other driver, 19-year-old Dariana Burr, was not seriously injured.
Jack Osborne was a track star and football player at Hastings College, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990. He also loved bull riding and the rodeo.
