OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County board is scheduled to vote on a new downtown Juvenile Justice Center tomorrow.
It will be part of a courthouse makeover project for the property near 18th and Harney. In March, the board approved a 114 million dollar bond for that project.
On Tuesday the board heard results of a study led by Creighton professor Ernie Goss. The study found the 30 year benefit of a new downtown center would be four times the cost.
