Lancaster County Treasurer Andy Stebbing is facing serious charges this morning.
He's accused of selling cars without a dealer's license and helping customers evade taxes. He's charged with falsifying bills of sale, filing fraudulent state income taxes and selling cars without a license.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Stebbing was reimbursed for mileage to and from the Lincoln Auto Auction.
Stebbing ran for Mayor of Lincoln in 2015.
