This weekend metro law enforcement agencies will team up with businesses to collect unwanted and unused medications.
Drop-off sites will be set up at area Hy-Vee's and Walgreens along with Police Departments.
The drive runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The Drug Enforcement Agency puts on the drug take-back day each year.
Last October, the drive collected more than 730,000 prescription drugs.
Drop-offs will be set up at three Hy-Vee's and two Walgreens in the metro. The Hy-Vee at 156th Street, 178th Street and N. 132nd are accepting unwanted medications.
The Walgreens at W. Center Road and the Q Street location will also be taking medications.
Two other drop-offs will be available in Ralston and La Vista.
