LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - James Schuerman, 30, was taken into custody by Lincoln Police after stealing a gun and using it to threaten two men early Wednesday morning.

LPD was called to the scene at around 3 a.m. after Schuerman approached two men he knew and began screaming at them over money the two supposedly owed him before he grabbed a nearby gun and caused the weapon to malfunction.

After threatening the victims, Schuerman fled the scene and was charged with making terroristic threats, possession of a firearm and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
