OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha City Parks is celebrating Arbor Day with a tree planting at Miller Park.
The celebration will include speaking from Parks Director, Brook Bench, City of Omaha Forester, John Wynn Sr., Nebraska State Forester, Graham Herbst and Mayor Jean Stothert.
Mayor Stothert will read a proclamation before the tree planting. The planting will come with the help of kids from Nelson Mandela Elementary School, across the street from Miller Park.
