OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) announced Monday that performances of “A Christmas Carol” are canceled due to COVID-19.

The production has been a tradition since the mid-70s.

Additionally, the “Christmas in my Heart” performances are canceled.

Leaders with OCP say they did everything in their power over the last several months to avoid canceling the productions.

The playhouse now encourages people to enjoy a virtual version of the shows. More information on that will be coming soon.
