Two people were arrested in connection with a long-term drug investigation, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says.

Deputies say Martese Roland and his girlfriend, Dinae Tatman, were taken into custody in connection with drugs and weapons found in their home on Ellison Avenue, near 127th Street, as part of a search warrant Friday.

Tatman was taken into custody Friday at the time of the search, but Roland was arrested the next day, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say they found:

  • 54 grams of heroin
  • 57 grams of marijuana
  • 28 grams of controlled substance pills
  • Small amount of cocaine
  • Two loaded .25 caliber handguns
  • 1 loaded .40 caliber handgun
  • 30-round magazine

Investigators described Roland as a multi-state offender from Chicago, adding that he is a convicted felon with a history of arrests that includes possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

They say he is also a performer with a hip-hop group called Most Wanted that produced a “disturbing video on YouTube that glamorizes drug use, firearms and violence towards law enforcement.”

He faces charges including eight counts of delivery of heroin, possession of a firearm while distributing a controlled substance and other drug-related charges.

Tatman faces charges similar charges.
