LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — On Tuesday, the Lincoln Police Department arrested a man, found to be in possession of numerous knives and methamphetamine, after he fled from police.
Police responded to the area of 16th and B after receiving a report of two males checking garages and houses. There, they saw 21-year-old Ryan Gray, who they say matched the description of one of the males.
Gray fled the scene on a bike and collided with a cruiser after police tried to make contact. During a search of Gray, they say he was found to be in possession of more than ten knives with blade lengths of 2-6 inches long. He also had an ice pick, a chain with an orange lock attached and several small bags containing methamphetamine.
Gray was arrested for "two counts of possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, 2nd subsequent offense, Possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, criminal mischief, and failure to comply and two outstanding warrants.
