OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Joshua Liebowitz, 37, was arrested during a traffic stop Thursday night after police found approximately 82 pounds of marijuana in his car.
Liebowitz, who had California plates on his car, failed to signal a lane change on Interstate 680. Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies say he had silver heat-sealed bags partially covered by a sleeping bag in the front. Deputies also say they smelled a strong odor of coffee, which was an attempt to mask the smell of drugs.
According to a release, deputies deployed a dog to sniff the vehicle, which lead to the finding of the 82 pounds of marijuana, a small amount of hash and drug paraphernalia.
Liebowitz was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and intent to deliver.
