A man is recovering after a fireworks accident Sunday evening.
Witnesses say a man was handling a firecracker in the Ginger Cove development near Valley when it exploded and took off most of the man's hand. He also suffered severe injuries to other parts of his body.
Medics had trouble getting to the man because streets in the neighborhood were filled with cars. He was eventually taken to a hospital for treatment. His name and condition are unknown at this time.
On Monday. the man was identified as Justin Noah.
